The famous tribute penny of the Bible, here in an excellent specimen - both sides nice, toned, and in the finest style of portraiture of the time. Earlier versions of this type show Tiberius much more in the image of Augustus, whereas those closer to the end of the reign feature a more "verist", less artistic rendition (very hooked nose, etc.)
