Interesting "concord" issue of two powerful moneyers, politicians and early Caesar allies of the troubled imperatorial era around the time of J. Caesar's death - a time of shifting alliances and political machinations, where any such "concord" was potentially short-lived and thus cynical. In this case, oddly, it does appear warranted: Decimius Junius Brutus (known also by his adopted name Albinus) was among the allies-turned-conspirators against Caesar (though less famous than "the Brutus" - see item R2088) and he was about to profit from it, assuming governorship of Cisalpine Gaul; his difficulties in assuming that position were relieved by the army of Pansa, who was to lose his life in this rescue mission. The ensuing turmoil of civil war engulfed Brutus, and he was soon to perish himself, while trying to support his namesake conspirator in the well-known final Macedonian retreat.
