Characteristic type of this scarce emperor - or usurper, for when a latter turned into a former is often a matter of taste. This reverse propaganda type is certainly testament to his continuous striving for legitimacy, which was finally brought to an end altogether by Theodosius the Great at the battle of Poetovio in July 388.
