The popular type issued asa tribute to Rome, along with its companion, the Constantinopolis type, ceased in many mints in 337 - including Herakleia and Nikomedia - but were revived for a single year at Nikomedia, here with the unusual and rare VOTA reverse, as opposed ot the customary wolf and twins; the analogous Constantinopolis type has not been recorded yet.
