A scarce and interesting issue, characteristically more popular than most lifetime Trajan denarii. Indeed, Decius issued a whole series of commemorative antoninianii commemorating earlier deified emperors, but the Trajan ones are in a sense special, given that Decius adopted his name upon accession. Typical rough porous surface and some strike weakness in legends and parts of reverse, but the portrait is well preserved and attractive.
