A scarcer type and locale altogether, additionally interesting for the unusual epithet of this city straddling the border between Mesopotamia and Commagene, "friend of Rome" (occasionally found with client kings in Parthia and Cappadocia), as well as the fact that the name Verus (here in Greek version, Oueros) is seldom used by Aurelius following his accesion.
