This issue commemorates the restoration of the eight-column Temple of Divus Augustus, probably late in 158 AD. Though a scarce one-year issue, the present variant with Tribunician Power 21 is even scarcer (22 being more common), identifying it as one of the earliest, and indicating a narrow time band shortly before Pius' annual renewal of Tribunician powers.
