Classical original design from Akragas, with the flan of almond shape that fits the designs chosen for each side - both the eagle's head and crab's claw. This and another interesting Akragantine type (the 3-sided toot-shaped trias) predate regular bronze coiange and are considered by some (including BMC) to have actually been weights.
