A charming Archaic fraction, probably from the same series and locale as one of the most famous Greek issues, the silver diskobolos/crab triple-siglos of Kos. Rosen's landmark volume on Greek silver fractions places in there, though Von Aulock considers it to be "uncertain of Macedonia" issue; more modern scholarship (K. Konuk publishing the Kayhan collection) reasserts the Kos hypothesis.
