Rare piece with unusual and nicely styled rendition of the supreme Greek deity, along with one of his attributes on the reverse. The city's name (sometimes also rendered in English as Adramyteon) is reputed to dreive its name from the brother of the famed king Kroisos (Croesus) of Lydia, by the name of Adramys (or Adramos or Adromon).
