Baktrian tetradrachms are well known for their artistic qualities, and certain series reach to the very top of Hellenistic fine art in general, with portraiture full of expressiveness and character. This is all the more remarkable given they so vividly depict rulers that little more is known about. This coin does have some surface problems - ex-heavy toning, a bit harshly cleaned in some of the fields, a couple of chips on the edge of the kausia, some reverse porosity and a limited flan crack. However, by wear it is EF+, from fresh dies, with one of the nicest styles for the king, and exquisite detail for the god. Additionally, it is a rare variant since the inverted E does not appear on Bopearachchi's list of monograms for any of the Indo-Greek kings.
