Rev: Artemis standing with bow, leaning on scepter, Greek legend "PERGAION"

GRADING: VF / AVF, dark green-brown patina, slight encrustation, scarce

The identity of the issuing emperor is in some doubt here, since the key part of the obverse legend is missing. The accomplished provincial style portrait is well-preserved, but the beardless effigy could resemble as much Trajan as A. Pius or a young M. Aurelius; however, the latter is unlikely since KAISAR legends appear to end in Perga with A. Pius for the period in question.
