Miniature, but rare and attractive representation of a facing Apollo, from one of the few claimed birthplaces of the famous Homer. Remarkable as a rare series with denominations marked explicitly - here EM for hemiobol (half obol), along with other types (of the same obverse design) with TE for tetartemorion (quarter obol; see our lots G3302-3) and TR for tritemorion (third obol)
