Obv: Head of beardless Pan with pointed ears to left (undercoin shows head of lion left, Greek legend PAN around, sturgeon below)
Rev: Bow and arrow, Greek legend PA[N] (undercoin shows face of beardless Pan l.)

GRADING: VF / AVF, brown patina, scarce

Artistic head of slightly older, though still beardless Pan. Scarce type, easier found in smaller versions (e.g. see our lot G1720), but seldom in this size and weight.
