A crude (partially perhaps due to undersized flans) but interesting archaic rendition of a Gorgon, only conjecturally attributed to Parion - well known later for artistic executions of the Gorgon / bull hemidrachms. Curiously, this issue was also imitated, a couple of centuries later, by the "barbarian" Tectosages of Galatia, although in an even cruder form.
