Obv: Macedonian shield with small Herakles' head (facing 3/4 to right) at its center
Rev: Macedonian helmet, Greek legend B - A to sides, no symbols or monograms

Although generally the bronze Macedonian shield / helmet is a common type, the present is an unusually nice specimen, with a superb reverse (in terms of strike, centering, preservation and patina) and attractive and finely styled obverse, with the less common miniature head of Herakles facing 3/4 to right
