A tetradrachm from early in the reign (and still relatively decent billon) of the final Arsakid Parthian monarch. Just a litle over a decade following the minting of this coin, the long-lived Arsakid dynasty came to an end, having succumbed to the new rulers of Persia, the Sassanians. |
