The reverse design follows that of similar fractions of theis timeframe from Kyzikos, except with lion's profile on obverse. The facing lioness resembles, on the pother hand, analogous issues (Rosen 87) that have been conjectured as having been minted from Akanthos, Macedon, to Pantikapaion (Taurica).
