Obv: Bust of Christ facing, wearing numbus and holding Book of Gospels, Greek legend IC XC ("Jesus Christ")
Rev: Latin cross with globule and two pellets in each extremity, X at the center, crescents in upper quarters and lillies in the lower ones; edge of undercoin cleary visible, with top of emperor's crown and complete Greek legend +MIHAEL BASIL O DK
