GRADING: AVF, mostly black patina, typically crude but struck on full flan, very scarce

A scarce type that is usually struck on quartered earlier folles, here on a reasonable flan and without overtly visible traces of undercoins. Another peculiarity might be the depiction of the emperor on the obverse, who is supposed to be bearded (for this year) and wearing a chlamys - neither of these seem to be the case here, but the crudeness of strike and lack of any other reasonable explanation may limit the doubt.
